“One Percent Better” Every Day: Ronnie Christopher’s Formula for Growth
Recently, Lawn & Landscape magazine interviewed Ronnie Christopher, U.S. Lawns owner from Warner Robbins, Ga. The article, entitled “Clean Slate,” was supposed to feature New Year’s resolutions from green industry professionals. But Ronnie offered his own piece of wisdom: growth is not a one-time decision on January 1, but a habit formed each day.
In other words, it requires consistency.
We loved Ronnie’s interview with Lawn & Landscape, because it highlighted so many of the qualities our U.S. Lawns owners share—such as making a difference for oneself and others.
“I strive to improve my life one percent each day,” Ronnie told Lawn & Landscape. “If I can achieve this goal, then every 30 days I have become 30 percent better than I was.”
Ronnie was the organizer of Hero Fest, a fundraiser for first responders. He also uses his role in the Chamber of Commerce to help local businesses grow.
