SERVICES INCLUDED IN OUR COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING ENHANCEMENT CONTRACTS

Seasonal Color – U.S. Lawns Scottsdale are experts with creating beautiful flower beds and desert garden arrangements that include flowering perennials, tropical plants, blooming cacti and other succulents, as well as native trees and shrubs that lend eye-catching texture. Then we’ll be there to make sure everything remains fresh, colorful and thriving along with the changing seasons.

Mulch – Mulching is a vital landscape enhancement for multiple reasons. In addition to creating a neat, tidy appearance, wood mulch helps to slow moisture loss and conserve water, which is a priority where we depend on the Colorado River as a primary water source. But mulching also prevents weeds from taking hold, controls erosion, regulates the ground temperature and feeds nutrients back into the desert soil as it breaks down.

Ground Cover – Besides organic mulch, there are other low-maintenance, low-water ground coverings that we can use, including different varieties of gravel like pea stone, artificial turf and rubber mulch, to name a few. We’ll come and walk your grounds with you to make recommendations that will work best for your unique situation, and once you’ve made your choice, we’ll make it happen.

Drainage Solutions – If overflow creates a problem on the rare occasion we do experience rain, there are solutions. U.S. Lawns can amend the soil with organic materials and install dry creek beds, natural rain gardens, surface drains, channel drains and French drains to capture or divert excess water and help with erosion control. If it comes down to it, we can even change the topography of the landscape.

Hardscapes – If you need to create an outside area where people can enjoy spending time, leave it to U.S. Lawns. We can build patios and walking paths using materials like flagstone, paver stone, cobblestone, brick and wood. We can also install covered picnic tables, benches, planters, a cooling water feature, arbor or gazebo. Let us know what you’re trying to achieve, and we’ll renovate your grounds so they’re making their best contribution.

Chris (shown) and his father, Jack Hallenbeck, purchased the two U.S. Lawns locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ in 2008 from the previous owner, and acquired a third in Chandler in 2015. They have a deep knowledge of the challenges and the successes of landscaping in Arizona’s unique climate and how the weather patterns here can affect timing, and what to do to keep

landscaping looking its best. They believe in training their team, and their employee retention speaks for itself, which in turn results in a long list of customers who have chosen to stay with them for 10 years or more. Curb appeal and beautifying properties comes natural to Chris and Jack; and so does the great customer relationships they’ve fostered over the years.
