Your Landscape Improvement & Enhancement Experts
Maintenance keeps a property from declining. Enhancement is what makes it look like someone cares — fresh color at the entrance, clean mulch lines, healthy plantings that fill in the way they’re supposed to. For a commercial property in West Georgia, those details do real work: they shape the first impression a prospective tenant forms in the parking lot and signal to current tenants that the property is well-run. U.S. Lawns of Atlanta West handles enhancement as an ongoing part of grounds care, not an afterthought.
The landscape improvement services we offer can can be as simple as putting fresh mulch in plant beds and around shrubs and trees to serve the dual purpose of being eye-pleasing while assisting with hydration or we can also address more complex drainage issues, by:
- Changing the topography of the terrain to reroute water.
- Mixing sand and other organic materials into the soil to improve its absorption abilities.
- Installing dry creek beds, French drains or surface drains.
- Building a natural rain garden, that is both attractive and useful, because it captures excess water runoff.
We also enjoy making landscaping enhancements for commercial property owners and managers overseeing the grounds of hotels, office and retail properties, multi-family dwellings, retirement communities and even industrial parks, that add value and make the grounds safe and inviting for employees, customers and occupants, alike.

Services Included In Our Commercial Landscape Enhancement Contracts
Seasonal color and flower installations – Rotating annual color at entrances, signage, and high-visibility beds keeps a property looking current through the year. In West Georgia’s climate we time installations to the season — spring and fall rotations that establish well and hold up, rather than color that fries in July or washes out in a downpour.
Mulching – Fresh mulch does more than look clean. It holds moisture in beds through dry stretches, moderates soil temperature, and suppresses weeds — all of which matter in this region’s heat and heavy clay soil. We refresh mulch on a schedule that keeps beds sharp and the plantings in them protected.
Plantings and landscape renovations – Over time, beds get tired, shrubs outgrow their space, and original plantings stop performing. We renovate underperforming areas with plant material suited to West Georgia conditions — selections that handle the heat, humidity, and clay rather than fighting them — so the property looks refreshed and the new work actually lasts.
Property value and curb appeal – Commercial grounds are one of the few things judged before anyone walks inside. Well-executed enhancements support leasing, renewals, and the overall positioning of the property, which is why we treat them as an investment in the asset rather than a cosmetic extra.

Jason went to The Ohio State University to pursue a degree in engineering and has worked professionally as an industrial engineer for 15 years. Amanda went to Jacksonville State University and earned her BSN. Amanda has worked as a nurse for 13 years, but went from full time to per diem once she had children. Jason and Amanda married in 2018 and had their daughter in 2020 and son in 2024. It has been a life long dream for Jason and Amanda to be business owners, especially after having children. Jason's passion for lawncare began as a child. He grew up on a farm with plenty of farm equipment to operate and repair, which started his love for engineering and the outdoors. Amanda loves to help others and get to know people on a personal level. We believe that our lives and careers have set us up perfectly for this small business that we truly believe in. Jason and Amanda faithfully attend church in Lithia Springs. They lived in the Athens area for about four years and did respite fostering for foster families during that time. They have a love for others and find joy in helping wherever they are needed. Amanda is happy to be back home in West Georgia after eight years of being away. Jason and Amanda enjoy spending time trying new restaurants, hiking or being outdoors, and taking the children along for all of it.
