Your Atlanta West Lawn Care & Landscape Management Experts

U.S. Lawns of Atlanta West is the commercial grounds care partner for property managers and facility teams across the western metro, from Lithia Springs and Douglasville out to Carrollton, Villa Rica, Newnan, and the industrial corridors along I-20 and the Fulton Industrial district. We’re locally owned by Jason and Amanda Brown and backed by U.S. Lawns, one of the largest commercial landscaping networks in the country. That combination matters to the people who hire us: you get an owner who answers the phone and knows your property, supported by the equipment, training, and standards of a national brand.

We handle the work that keeps a commercial property leasing well and operating without interruption. Commercial landscape maintenance and enhancement covers the turf, beds, trees, and seasonal color that drive a property’s first impression, and commercial irrigation keeps that investment alive through Georgia summers without wasting water or running up the bill. For an office park in Douglasville, a retail center off I-20, an HOA in Peachtree City, or an industrial site in southwest Atlanta, the goal is the same — grounds that look maintained, stay safe, and never become the reason a tenant complains or a prospect walks.

If you’re responsible for a commercial property in West Georgia and want a grounds partner who shows up and communicates, request a quote. Tell us about your site and we’ll walk it, assess what it needs, and put a clear scope in front of you.

LAWN MAINTENANCE & GROUNDS CARE – Atlanta West – TEAM 737

Jason and Amanda Brown live and work in West Georgia, and that proximity shows up in how the business runs. When something needs attention after a storm or before a property tour, there’s an owner nearby who treats your site like it reflects on them, because it does. We’re not managing your account from another state. We’re in the same market, dealing with the same weather, driving the same roads.

What we’re after is the kind of relationship where a property manager stops thinking about landscaping because it’s handled. That comes from doing the small things consistently — sticking to the schedule, flagging an irrigation leak before it becomes a dead zone, keeping entrances and signage sightlines clean, and telling you what we see on the property even when you didn’t ask. Commercial accounts don’t stay with a vendor because of one good visit. They stay because the grounds look right every week and the communication is straight.

We understand the pressures on the people who hire us. A landscape line item has to defend itself against every other building expense, and the grounds are one of the few things a tenant or visitor judges before they ever walk inside. Our job is to protect both — the appearance that supports your leasing and renewals, and the budget you have to answer for.

ABOUT THE OWNERship

Jason and Amanda are locals to West Georgia. Amanda was born and raised in Lithia Springs while Jason also grew up in a small town in Central Ohio.

Jason went to The Ohio State University to pursue a degree in engineering and has worked professionally as an industrial engineer for 15 years. Amanda went to Jacksonville State University and earned her BSN. Amanda has worked as a nurse for 13 years, but went from full time to per diem once she had children. Jason and Amanda married in 2018 and had their daughter in 2020 and son in 2024. It has been a life long dream for Jason and Amanda to be business owners, especially after having children. Jason's passion for lawncare began as a child. He grew up on a farm with plenty of farm equipment to operate and repair, which started his love for engineering and the outdoors. Amanda loves to help others and get to know people on a personal level. We believe that our lives and careers have set us up perfectly for this small business that we truly believe in. Jason and Amanda faithfully attend church in Lithia Springs. They lived in the Athens area for about four years and did respite fostering for foster families during that time. They have a love for others and find joy in helping wherever they are needed. Amanda is happy to be back home in West Georgia after eight years of being away. Jason and Amanda enjoy spending time trying new restaurants, hiking or being outdoors, and taking the children along for all of it.

U.S. Lawns in YOUR Community

The team is trained for commercial work specifically, which is a different discipline than residential lawn care. Commercial properties carry liability considerations, tenant expectations, and budget structures that demand crews who understand safety, scheduling around business operations, and the reporting a property manager needs to justify spend up the chain. Our people are equipped and trained to deliver that, and the relationships we build are meant to last across renewal cycles, not single seasons. When you partner with U.S. Lawns of Atlanta West, you’re hiring a team that treats your property’s appearance as a direct reflection of your operation, because it is, and ours.

Commercial Lawn Care in Atlanta West, Georgia

West Georgia sits squarely in the climate transition zone, which is one of the hardest places in the country to grow turf well. Warm-season grasses like bermuda and zoysia thrive in the summer heat but go dormant and brown through winter, while cool-season fescue stays green in the cold but struggles in July and August. Choosing the right turf for a given property — and managing it through the seasonal handoff — is a judgment call, not a formula. On top of that, the region’s heavy red clay soil drains slowly, compacts under foot and mower traffic, and holds water in ways that can suffocate roots and breed fungus if a property isn’t managed for it.

The answer to West Georgia’s conditions is a maintenance program built around the local calendar, not a generic schedule: warm-season turf managed through dormancy and green-up, fungus and weed pressure stayed ahead of rather than chased, irrigation tuned to the season, and seasonal color and enhancements timed to keep the property fresh when it counts. That’s the work that keeps a commercial landscape an asset instead of a liability.
