An irrigation system is the difference between a landscape that survives a Georgia summer and one that browns out in August. But a poorly managed system is also one of the biggest sources of wasted money on a commercial property — a stuck valve, a broken head spraying the parking lot, or a controller running through a rainstorm adds up fast on the water bill. U.S. Lawns of Atlanta West manages commercial irrigation, so the landscape gets the water it needs and the property isn’t paying for water it doesn’t.
As business owners ourselves and full-service landscaping experts we understand the difference a healthy landscape can make to your company’s bottom line, hence why we’ve made water management one of our specialties.

Services Included In Our Irrigation Management Contracts
Irrigation audits – We inspect the full system, heads, valves, zones, coverage, and controller settings, to find leaks, dry spots, overspray, and inefficiencies. An audit usually surfaces problems an owner is paying for without knowing it.
New Irrigation System Design & Installation – If your property is in need of a new irrigation system, the irrigation specialists at U.S. Lawns have the ability to design and install a custom system that meets the needs of your unique softscape elements, soil conditions, and the local West Georgia climate, keeping your landscape lush and beautiful.
Repairs and system optimization – Broken heads, leaking valves, clogged lines, and poor coverage get repaired and tuned so every zone delivers what it should — no dry corners, no flooded beds, no water hitting pavement.
Water conservation and cost savings – Right-sized, well-maintained irrigation lowers consumption and the bill that comes with it, while keeping the landscape healthy. For a commercial property, that’s a line item that gets easier to defend.
Regional Climate Considerations – West Georgia’s summers are hot and humid, and the region swings between drought stretches and heavy downpours. That makes irrigation management a balancing act: deliver enough water to carry turf and beds through dry weeks without overwatering, which in this climate invites the fungal diseases — brown patch and large patch — that thrive on excess moisture and slow-draining clay soil. A system tuned to local conditions protects both the landscape and the budget; one left on a fixed schedule usually does the opposite.
So whether you’re responsible for the grounds of a restaurant, shopping center, manufacturing plant, apartment complex, assisted living facility or hotel property, U.S. Lawns of Atlanta West is your complete landscape management partner. Jason went to The Ohio State University to pursue a degree in engineering and has worked professionally as an industrial engineer for 15 years. Amanda went to Jacksonville State University and earned her BSN. Amanda has worked as a nurse for 13 years, but went from full time to per diem once she had children. Jason and Amanda married in 2018 and had their daughter in 2020 and son in 2024. It has been a life long dream for Jason and Amanda to be business owners, especially after having children. Jason's passion for lawncare began as a child. He grew up on a farm with plenty of farm equipment to operate and repair, which started his love for engineering and the outdoors. Amanda loves to help others and get to know people on a personal level. We believe that our lives and careers have set us up perfectly for this small business that we truly believe in. Jason and Amanda faithfully attend church in Lithia Springs. They lived in the Athens area for about four years and did respite fostering for foster families during that time. They have a love for others and find joy in helping wherever they are needed. Amanda is happy to be back home in West Georgia after eight years of being away. Jason and Amanda enjoy spending time trying new restaurants, hiking or being outdoors, and taking the children along for all of it.
