Commercial Snow & Ice Management in Dayton, OH
Serving Properties in Dayton, Xenia, Huber Heights, Jamestown, Montgomery County, Greene County, and the Surrounding Communities
Your Snow Plowing & Ice Management Experts
As a lifelong resident of Western Ohio, local U.S. Lawns owner-operator Ryan Kirkham understands how to prepare for every season — especially the winter weather that regularly affects the Dayton area. That’s why we work with customers early to include commercial snow and ice management in their annual landscape plan. Planning ahead provides important advantages:
- It eliminates the last-minute scramble to find commercial snow removal or ice services once winter precipitation begins.
- It gives us time to identify safe, out-of-the-way areas to pile snow where drainage can handle the runoff as temperatures rise.
- It allows our team to learn your property layout so we can better avoid damaging snow-covered hardscape or softscape elements during plowing and shoveling.
U.S. Lawns of Dayton provides complete commercial snow removal and commercial snow and ice management for properties throughout Preble, Warren, Montgomery, Greene, Butler, and Clark Counties.

Snow Plowing & Shoveling
Depend on U.S. Lawns Team 087 in Dayton to be on-site with shovels and plows when accumulation begins. We work to keep parking lots, sidewalks, and outdoor stairs accessible so your property remains usable for employees, visitors, residents, and customers.
Ice Melts
When icy conditions are expected, we pre-treat paved surfaces as appropriate. If glazing or thicker buildup occurs, we return with traction support and ice-melt applications. We use the same ice-melt materials included in the original program:
- Granular deicers — penetrate and melt thicker layers of ice
- Liquid deicers — used preventatively and to break up thin glaze
- Sand — improves traction until melting takes effect
- Salt, brine, and gravel — used when suitable for site conditions
These treatments help maintain safer movement across walkways, parking areas, and high-traffic surfaces.
Winter Storm Response
Our winter storm response begins with monitoring weather forecasts so we can pre-treat surfaces when needed. As soon as plowing or shoveling services become necessary, we arrive to help maintain accessibility. After the storm, we return to remove fallen limbs and debris left behind by strong winds or heavy snow.
This level of preparation is essential whether you manage the grounds of a Brookville hotel, an Englewood apartment property, a New Lebanon care facility, a Yellow Springs shopping center, or an industrial site in Franklin or Germantown.
