Commercial Snow & Ice Management in Toledo, OH
Serving Properties in Toledo, Maumee, Sylvania, Holland, Perrysburg, Swanton, Berkey, Whitehouse, Shoreland, Waterville, and the Surrounding Communities
Your Snow Plowing & Ice Management Experts
Your locally owned U.S. Lawns Toledo team understands that commercial landscape maintenance is a year-round responsibility. Once the growing season ends, we transition from mowers and trimmers to snowplows, shovels, and ice melts — ensuring your property remains safe and accessible throughout winter.
Owner Tom Curdes and his commercial snow and ice management crew know exactly what to expect from Great Lakes winters. That’s why we begin planning early in the year, building a winter strategy that helps your property stay operational when snow and freezing conditions arrive.
Whether you manage:
- A retail shopping center in Whitehouse
- An apartment community in Waterville
- A retirement campus in Perrysburg
- An industrial facility in Rossford
- Or any other commercial property in the Toledo region
…our team will walk your site, review traffic flow, identify sensitive areas, establish snow-pile zones, and add you to our winter schedule. When the snow flies, you can focus on running your business — not scrambling to find service.
SERVICES INCLUDED IN OUR Commercial Snow Removal CONTRACTS
Early Preparation
One of the reasons we keep our customers operating smoothly through winter storms is the extensive preparation we complete months in advance.
We:
- Familiarize ourselves with your property so we can avoid hardscape and softscape elements once they’re hidden under snow — preventing issues like plows striking borders, curbs, parking blocks, or costly landscape features.
- Identify the best out-of-the-way snow-pile locations to ensure proper drainage during melting.
- Prune shrubs and trees at the right time of year so they withstand heavy snow, strong winds, and icy conditions.
This preparation ensures your winter plan is ready well before the first storm.
Snow Removal
When snow begins to accumulate, our commercial snow removal crews will be on site plowing parking lots, drive lanes, and walkways, and shoveling sidewalks and stairways to keep your grounds accessible for employees, residents, customers, and visitors.
Ice Prevention and Removal
We apply ice-control treatments to paved surfaces to help prevent slips and manage buildup. Depending on conditions, we may use:
- Liquid deicers – Effective as a pre-treatment and for melting thin glazing when temperatures allow.
- Granular deicers – Used to penetrate thicker layers of frozen precipitation.
- Sand – Provides added traction on slick surfaces.
Only materials included in the original program — no calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, or eco products.
Winter Storm Response
As part of our winter services, we:
- Monitor weather forecasts continuously so we can respond when needed
- Arrive promptly during snow and ice events
- Clear downed branches and storm debris after severe weather
Our thorough storm response helps commercial properties across Toledo and surrounding communities stay safer and more accessible throughout winter.
